Job DescriptionJob Description

The Raw Materials Inventory Analyst will work directly with the Purchasing Manager, Raw Materials to analyze raw material development, trial schedule, stock level and planned usage. Coordinates between Technical, Crude Stores, Purchasing and Production Planning department to support product changes.

Reports to: Purchasing Manager, Raw Materials

Essential Functions/Duties:

Development

  • Monitor the trial schedule with Technical, Design, and Purchasing departments.
  • Evaluate the Tire Development Raw Material forecast from Technical Team. (Monthly)
  • Evaluate the Race Tire Raw Material forecast from Technical Team. (Monthly)
  • Check Tire Spec Change and Raw Material forecast from Technical Team. (Monthly)
  • In the event of a spec change, ensure that preceding material is being consumed according to works technical guidance.
  • Communicate status and work with team to discuss next steps
  • Solely accountable to ensure that assigned items from monthly meetings are being completed by all parties.

Database

  • Support utilization of quality system as administrator
  • Maintain raw material vendor database
  • Maintain Safety Data Sheet (SDS) database
  • Support the oversight various tracking databases

Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • BA/BS preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of technical, purchasing or raw material experience.
  • Experience in working across divisions and with external organizations.
  • Excellent verbal & written interpersonal communication skills
  • Effective communication skills including facilitation and delegation
  • Demonstrated multi-tasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.

The pay range anticipated for this role is $55,000 to $75,000 per year. Please keep in mind that this range represents an estimate based upon requested experience and skill sets. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, experience, knowledge, skills, and may differ from this estimate.
