What is PACE North? PACE stands for Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly. We are new and unique option for individuals 55 and older who qualify for nursing facility level of care and wish to remain in their homes as they age. What does that mean? We care for the elderly daily in both our state-of-the-art day center on Garfield near Hammond during regular business hours and as needed in their home. Never heard of us before? That’s okay, we’re new to the region. We began serving the elderly in 2019 and our service model is so popular it’s growing quickly

What does a Community Liaison Specialist at PACE North do? You are responsible for promoting PACE to the community and generating participant referrals You’ll build relationships and regularly work with community partners to help anyone considering the PACE model of care. You’ll be the expert in explaining the PACE program to not only interested people but our community in general. This includes designing and implementing educational events, marketing, mailing, and lots of calling Be prepared, you’ll likely do plenty of traveling to peoples’ homes and throughout the community as you professionally and confidently represent PACE.


Requirements:

What qualifications should you bring to the table? We’re looking for that special person who loves engaging with others and is passionate about educating both individuals and the community at large. We’d appreciate at least 2 years’ experience in marketing, sales, admissions, or education, 1 year of related healthcare experience, and either an associate’s degree or an exceptional combination of college coursework and real-world experience. Experience and compassion working with seniors is a must As you can tell from the description, you’ll need to demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills, the ability to effectively present information to others in both an individual and group setting, and that unique ability to establish relationships that keep
