Job Summary:
The Loan Origination System (LOS) Software Implementation Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end implementation of LOS software solutions for our clients. This role requires a understanding of loan origination processes, project management methodologies, and software implementation. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, product development, compliance, and client stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of LOS projects on time and within scope.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution:
    • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resources.
    • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure seamless implementation.
    • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the implementation process.
    • Facilitate regular communication with stakeholders to provide project updates and address any issues or concerns.
    • Manage client expectations and ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed client requirements.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Conduct project meetings and ensure that all team members are aligned on project goals and tasks.
  • Risk & Issue Management:
    • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Resolve project-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
    • Escalate critical issues to senior management when necessary.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality.
    • Oversee testing and validation processes to ensure that the LOS software functions as intended.
    • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that any defects are resolved prior to go-live.
  • Project Documentation & Reporting:
    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change logs.
    • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
    • Ensure that all project documentation is stored and maintained in accordance with company policies.


Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP certification is desired.
  • Experience:
    • 4+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on software implementation.
    • Proven experience in implementing Loan Origination Systems or software in general.
    • Strong understanding of loan origination processes.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Monday.com or similar.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Work Environment:
This role may require occasional travel to client sites. The role is Based in Austin, Texas (Hybrid), but can be full remote for the right individual.
