Our upcoming event is one of Arkansas's largest leadership and family conferences, targeting SMBs and featuring esteemed speakers like John Maxwell. This conference is a project of Scale with Stability, a sister brand of Hite Digital, focused on fostering business growth and leadership development through impactful speakers and exceptional experiences.
Role Overview:
We’re seeking a dynamic relationship builder, “Business Development Manager,” to drive attendee sales and develop strategic partnerships for our sister brands, Scale with Stability Whirlocal. This role focuses on generating new relationships with local businesses and individuals to generate revenue opportunities for all brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and establish relationships with potential partners and sponsors.
- Sales: Execute the sales strategies targeting SMBs to achieve ticket sales targets and Whirlocal subscriptions.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with businesses, encouraging their participation in the conference.
- Local Outreach: Focus on engaging local businesses through our events and Whirlocal initiative.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the growth team to align sales strategies with promotional activities.
- Reporting: Regularly report progress to the CEO and Growth operations leader and provide insights on strategy adjustments.
- Tools: Utilize CRM tools to manage and track relationships and sales activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development and sales, preferably in small and medium businesses.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of CRM tools and sales tracking software.
- Reliable means of transportation and the ability to travel as needed
