Purpose:
To provide direct first-line desk-side support to APS schools and administrative locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Maintain exceptional service, build strong relationships with school staff.
- Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, monitor support tickets, and perform regular maintenance.
- Equipment Maintenance: Manage and update computer labs, Chrome carts, interactive whiteboards, and other tech equipment.
- Documentation: Document work performed, maintain asset records, and attend professional development meetings.
- Collaboration: Work with other field techs, support IT projects, and coordinate with vendors.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in field tech support.
- Certifications: A+ Certification required; Microsoft Windows and ITIL certifications are a plus.
- Skills: Strong customer service, oral and written communication, network infrastructure knowledge.
Vehicle: Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required. - Attributes: Creative, analytical, enthusiastic with strong attention to detail.
- Professionalism: Excellent English command, strong customer service skills, and a positive team player.
- Degree: Minimum of an Associate degree preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years in field tech support; equivalent education and experience combinations considered.
