An ideal candidate would have proven PM experience supported by a PMP and Army Learning and Development (L&D) experience in development of eLearning products. Essential Job Functions:


  • Manage project lifecycle from inception to completion, accountable for project results.
  • Ability to break down complicated or ambiguous information into project requirements or tasking.
  • Monitor and control day-to-day project operations and performance to resolve issues and identify risks.
  • Oversee integrated team (i.e., Client Stakeholders, company staff, subcontractors and independent contractors) to maintain / adjust plan to complete project on time and within scope.
  • Develop work plans and establish internal milestones to track progress against schedules and quality standards.
  • Serve as the primary interface between the contract team and the client for all tasks and requirements.
  • Establish milestones and ensure that the team completes required deliverables in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Ensure effective communications between the company functional departments, employees, and leadership.
  • Work with Client Representatives to complete project on time and within scope.
  • Complete work breakdown structure to estimate effort required for each task.
  • Familiarize and become proficient in project management tools and relevant technology.
  • Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes are documented and approved in accordance with standing policies.
  • Track and report on project milestones and provide status report to company leadership and client representatives.
  • Lead, coach and motivate project team members.
  • Ensure all project documentation is timely, accurate and maintained per project requirements.


Required Experience and Qualifications:


  • Master’s degree in related field with 5 to 8 years’ experience, or bachelor’s degree and 9 to 12 years’ experience 
  • Eligible for government security clearance.
  • Seven (7) years program management experience supporting Military Distance/Distributed Training, Education, or Learning products or services or related relevant experience.
  • Experience managing a minimum of $5M in annual DoD contracts leading multiple or large-scale projects with multi-disciplinary teams and tight deadlines or related relevant experience.
  • Five to Eight (5-8) years practitioner experience developing Military Training, Education, or Learning products or services or related relevant experience. To include distance/distributed training at the level 1-4 interactivity (to include VR/AR/Gaming)
  • Proficient experience using Project Management tools and/or software, particularly those applications supporting schedule/milestone management, such as Asana, Microsoft Project and Basecamp.
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from senior management and other organizational leads.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication abilities.
  • Must be able to work in a dynamic and flexible environment where priorities and deadlines may change.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.


Desired Experience:


  • Master’s degree
  • Current PMP Certification
  • Eight (8) years or more project management experience supporting federal and/or DoD contracts/projects.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision leading complex projects.
  • Experience delivering products for online eLearning content using interactive instructional multimedia technologies to include game-based solutions.
  • Experience with Army TRADOC training and development standards
  • Proficient understanding of the ADDIE system of design and evaluation.
  • Prior experience as an educator and/or instructor.
  • Experience supporting Technical Approach for Proposals.
  • Prior Army or other military experience.
