Singer Industrial is currently seeking a Marketing Content Manager to lead the content strategy for the organization with a heavy focus on digital content. Utilizing a combination of marketing ideas and content writing expertise, the Marketing Content Manager will raise awareness, provide industry and market thought-leadership and as a result, drive demand for Singer Industrial.

The Marketing Content Manager is responsible for leading editorial tone and direction, production, execution and measurement of Singer Industrial’s content marketing program including but not limited to, video marketing, social media marketing content, customer and sales enablement content, long and short-form web content, SEO content, market research and public relations.

Singer Industrial is seeking inspired and highly entrepreneurial people to join our fast-paced team. Singer Industrial is one of America’s largest Industrial Distributors with a North American footprint of approximately 100 locations and over 1,400 employees. Singer Industrial strives to efficiently improve customer productivity with innovative industrial solutions, while providing employee growth and opportunity. We do this with a robust line of fluid power, hose & fittings, belts, seals & gaskets, pneumatic and automation products and field services.

The Marketing Content Manger will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver a best-in-class content marketing program. In addition;

Responsibilities:

  • Full ownership of best-in-class web content, understanding of digital content and digital customer journeys
  • Define multi-channel content needs
  • Lead optimization of current marketing mix to drive lead generation and email opt-ins
  • Plan the content marketing calendar and partner with cross-functional teams for execution
  • Align content marketing efforts throughout channels - print, social, digital, etc
  • Report out on performance and KPIs
  • Build strong relationships with internal marketing partners and the sales and field organizations
  • Create thought leadership content for customers, prospects and leads
  • Maintain relationships and manage press outreach

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5-7 years of professional digital marketing experience at a consumer/B2B company, media company, or agency
  • Demonstrated success in developing, planning, implementing and optimizing digital marketing mix for a multi-brand organization
  • Hands-on experience with web analytics tools
  • Self-directed and resourceful
  • Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Confident functioning in a “start-up” environment
  • MS Office
  • Detail oriented with strong project management skills
