Email Marketing Manager

Job Overview:
The Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing email marketing campaigns to drive engagement, nurture leads, drive conversions, customer acquisition and increase customer retention. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for email marketing, a strong understanding of best practices, and the ability to optimize campaign performance through data-driven insights.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies to achieve business objectives, including lead generation, customer acquisition, driving conversions, and retention.
- Manage the end-to-end email marketing process, including campaign planning, content creation, scheduling, deployment, automation, segmentation, API integration, and performance tracking.
- Create engaging and relevant email content, including newsletters, promotional offers, product updates, event invitations, ticket sales, event registrations, and personalized communications.
- Segment email lists based on demographics, behaviors, and preferences to deliver targeted and personalized campaigns that resonate with different audience segments.
- A/B test subject lines, content, and designs to optimize email performance, increase open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of email campaigns, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, design, content, product, etc.) to ensure alignment and integration of email marketing initiatives with overall marketing strategy.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in email marketing to keep our campaigns fresh, innovative, and competitive.
- Manage email marketing tools, platforms, and vendors to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and leverage advanced features and capabilities with our email platform. Will need experience with Klaviyo and Customer.io.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or related roles, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing email campaigns that drive engagement and conversion.
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Customer.io and Klaviyo) and marketing automation tools, with hands-on experience in campaign creation, segmentation, and analytics.
- Strong understanding of email marketing principles, tactics, and best practices, including segmentation, personalization, automation, deliverability, and compliance.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaign performance and ROI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling email content that resonates with target audiences.
