Scope of Work

As a Human Resources (HR) Manager at Gellert Health, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our company's mission, goals, and culture. This dynamic generalist role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in a wide range of HR activities, from recruitment and onboarding to training, employee relations, policy development, and compliance. You'll be at the heart of a company that values every individual and is dedicated to helping those who need us most.


Key Responsibilities


Recruitment and Onboarding

· Lead the full-cycle recruitment process: create compelling job descriptions, post on online platforms, screen resumes, conduct engaging interviews, and collaborate on selecting top talent.

· Ensure a seamless onboarding experience, from background checks to welcoming new hires.

· Build and nurture relationships with recruiting sources and educational institutions.


Employee Orientation

· Conduct new hire orientations, ensuring a memorable and smooth onboarding experience.

· Oversee a comprehensive and intensive New Employee Orientation program, which guides all new hires through a 2 to 3 week training process, including developing and scheduling dynamic sessions, including a combination of internal and external speakers, trainers, and subject matter experts, in person and web based.

· Ensure compliance with AHCCCS Requirements.


Employee Relations

· Be a trusted resource for employees, addressing inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.

· Facilitate conflict resolution and conduct investigations to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

· Support supervisors and managers in implementing effective disciplinary actions.

· Act as a liaison between staff, the Culture Committee, and the Leadership Team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere.


Benefits Administration

· Administer comprehensive employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.

· Conduct and coordinate engaging benefits orientation and enrollment processes.


Compliance and Policies

· Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with federal, state, and local employment laws.

· Conduct regular HR audits and manage updates to company policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.

· Stay ahead of employment laws and industry trends to keep Gellert Health proactive in HR practices.


HR Administration and Documentation

· Maintain accurate HR records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and data security.

· Prepare insightful reports and analytics to support HR metrics and decision-making.

· Assist with innovative HR projects, initiatives, and other HR related functions as needed.


Training and Development

· Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate impactful training sessions and workshops.

· Track required training and ensure compliance.

· Collaborate with the Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) on clinical training and supervision.

· Evaluate and improve training programs to enhance employee skills and engagement.


Full-Time (8AM-5PM)

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS


Education

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.


Preferred Qualifications

· PHR (Professional in Human Resources) or SHRM-CP (Certified Professional).

· Experience within the healthcare industry is preferred.

· Experience with Paylocity platform implementations.


Experience

· At least 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist, or in a similar role.

· Possess a strong knowledge of HR and employment laws and regulations ensuring all HR practices comply with federal, state and local requirements.


Skills

· Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with ability to collaborate.

· Strong organizational, time and project management skills.

· Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.

· Proficiency in MS Office 365 Suite and HRIS (e.g., Paylocity) and other HR technology platforms (e.g., Trainual).

· Quick learner of new technology applications or workflow tools related to HR processes.


*Employment is contingent upon passing the background check and drug screening.


Compensation & Benefits

Expected Salary range for this position is between $60,000 and $65,000, based on the successful candidate’s skills and experience. Gellert Health is proud to offer a comprehensive total compensation package, which includes paid time off, health, dental and vision insurance and 401(k) with Company match up to 3%.
