Job DescriptionVeolia Water Technologies' AquaService Group is seeking a resourceful Sales Leader. The candidate must have a high aptitude in sales leadership, a strong background in the water / wastewater market sector and have a firm understanding of water and wastewater operational management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive new sales for Veolia’sAquaService business
Identify and qualify any potential industrial, commercial, institutional, municipal or regional client that has water or wastewater management and operational needs that can be addressed directly by AquaServices
Work closely with VWTS’ Leadership team and their Account Management team(s) to uncover new opportunities
Provide leadership and assistance in the development and implementation of sales strategies
Provide sales and engineering support throughout the entire sales process from initial discussions until closure
Work closely with AquaService’ Operations Manager and Account Managers as business opportunities are uncovered
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred.
Must be proficient with Google Suite and MS Office.
10+ years experience in water / wastewater / environmental market sector
10+ years industrial / municipal service experience
Demonstrated history of sales growth and leadership
Demonstrated ability to “upsell” existing clients
Excellent communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Self-starter
Familiarity with marketing tools and able to use these tools to identify sales prospects
Strong client empathy
Critical thinker
Able to uncover client needs and to clearly visualize solutions
Effective time manager
Demonstrated ability to control costs / expenses within allowable budget
