About the Role:
We are looking for a Strategic Pricing Analyst to join our team, reporting directly to the Head of Pricing. The successful candidate needs to come with curiosity, a passion to learn and become instrumental in the commercial organization. In this role, you will collaborate closely to identify business requirements, assess business models, and optimize pricing strategies. You will play a key part in determining and optimizing product pricing strategies to drive revenue and market share; and also possess a deep understanding of consumer electronics trends (specifically phones, tablets, wearables, and mobile devices), market dynamics, and competitive landscapes enabling informed pricing recommendations that contribute to the overall success of our organization.
What You Will Do:
- Develop and implement effective pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align pricing with business objectives.
- Gather and analyze competitive pricing data to inform pricing decisions.
- Identify opportunities for market differentiation through pricing.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of the consumer electronics market, focusing on phones, tablets, wearables, and mobile devices.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor pricing strategies, and market demand.
- Analyze pricing data from industry standards, sales trends, and competitors, providing insights to decision-makers.
- Provide pricing recommendations for new product launches and end-of-life products.
- Utilize data analytics and BI tools to extract meaningful insights and trends related to consumer electronics pricing.
- Prepare dashboards and present reports to key stakeholders.
- Work cross-functionally with sales and finance teams to establish pricing programs aligned with revenue and margin objectives.
- Influence internally for the adoption and testing of new pricing structures and strategies.
- Implement pricing optimization techniques to adjust prices dynamically based on market conditions.
- Regularly review and refine pricing models for continuous improvement.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. (Master’s degree is a plus.)
- 1-3 years of experience in developing and executing pricing strategies, price setting, and profitability management.
- Experience as an Analyst, preferably in the consumer electronics industry.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in PowerBI.
- Strategic thinker dedicated to providing valuable insights and strong desire to learn.
- knowledge of consumer electronics market - phones, tablets, wearables, and mobile devices is preferrable.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, manage complex projects, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data analytics and pricing optimization tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
