The Landscape Division Manager assists in reviewing and coordinating all phases of landscape installation. Including hardscape demolition & construction, softscape installations, material procurement, customer communication and administration. Tasks associated include leading the landscape division, construction site management, job site layout, project layout, contractor correspondence, material acquisition, and establishing/exceeding timeline goals. Work day includes working at job sites supporting construction teams combined with time dedicated to office-based tasks.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Driver's license
- Educational Background in Construction Project Management, Landscape Design, preferred
- Minimum 2 years' experience in construction project management or related role.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in leadership or management role.
- Knowledge of hardscape materials and installation processes
- Basic knowledge of plants in our region.
- Construction or landscape crew leadership experience; ability to foresee needs of the team
- Computer Applications: Microsoft Word , Email, Excel, Data Entry.
- Blueprint interpretations. Invoice Processing
- Collaboration and communication skills
- Self-starter who is committed to producing quality work that exceeds expectations.
- Works well under pressure, meet deadlines, juggle multiple projects, anticipate re-prioritization.
- Experience with operating construction equipment
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Division Management - Adhering to maintaining division budget and administration of labor and materials.
- Project coordination; Blueprint interpretation
- Materials Procurement
- Hardscape and Softscape installation support; Cross collaboration between Designer and front-line installation crews.
- Designer/Leadership support through client communications.
- Team leadership . Creative problem solving and troubleshooting.
- Professional representation of Landscape Consultants toward internal teams, clients, and contractors
