Job DescriptionJob DescriptionRole and Responsibilities

The Quality Control Inspector coordinates activities and enforces best-practices as it relates to the overall quality of our product and manufacturing process. The QC Inspector is responsible for receiving inspection of incoming materials, in-process inspections of product, and final inspection of outgoing customer shipments.

The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure personal safety and that of team members in the area; immediately reporting unsafe conditions to a leader; taking action to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
  • Maintaining inspection reports, including the recording of actual dimensional measurements.
  • Utilizing different measuring devices, such as Callipers / Tape Measure / Verniers, to obtain actual measurements.
  • Maintain and enforce all Quality procedures, reporting all non-conforming work to the Plant Manager.
  • Identifying areas for Continuous Improvement in methods for Quality Assurance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Physically able to bend, squat, and maneuver to obtain measurement readings.
  • Have mathematical knowledge of fractions and decimal conversions.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Have a positive impact on the organization.
Preferred Skills
  • Prior QA / QC experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ERP / MRP operating systems.
  • Ability to work well with others and well organized.
Additional Notes
  • Satisfactory pre-employment Background Check and Drug Screening is required.
  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Work Environment
  • Work is conducted in a plant manufacturing setting.
  • Safety steel-toed shoes and safety glasses are required.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
  • Position requires to at times be outside gathering measurements and data to preform job duties.
