The Department of the Army, Army Installation Management Command, Joint Base Lewis-McChord Directorate of Public Works urgently requires Information Technology & Support Services.

The Joint Base Lewis-McChord Directorate of Emergency Services plans, directs, synchronizes, and executes Fire and Emergency Services, Law Enforcement, Physical Security, Access Control, Weapons System Security, Emergency Management, and Emergency Communications/911 on JBLM to protect service members, family members, and civilians; protect the JBLM strategic support area; enable readiness and facilitate power projection during peacetime and war. This position requires that you live in Yakima/Seattle area to make on-site support and remote support. 


Arcetyp LLC is looking for an experienced IT Help Desk Senior System Administrator. This role will be responsible for performing the following tasks:


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of a large, complex help desk and system administration environment.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of servers, workstations, and IT systems.
  • Provide technical support and issue resolution for end-users, ensuring timely and accurate problem-solving.
  • Monitor and maintain system performance, ensure backup processes, and manage security protocols.
  • Coordinate with other departments to develop, implement, and update help desk procedures and documentation.
  • Manage updates and patches for systems including Windows Server and ensure compliance with DoD and Army policies.


EDUCATION AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 

  • 5+ years with servers and workstations, leading in a large, complex help desk/system administration function.


REQUIRED SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Must have Baseline and Computing Environment Certifications as specified in the Army Training and Certification Tracking Systems (ATCTS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune).
  • Experience with Microsoft Hyper-V for virtualization.
  • Must have Secret Clearance.
