Estimators with Plumbing experience Needed in Charlotte, NC.

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Plumbing Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in estimating projects accurately and efficiently. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Pay range $70K-$100K per year. DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Review project specifications, blueprints, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for plumbing projects.
  • Analyze project requirements, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive project proposals.
  • Obtain quotes and negotiate pricing with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and present estimates to clients in a clear and professional manner.
  • Track and manage project budgets, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to plumbing estimation.
  • Assist in the development of bid strategies and proposal templates.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a plumbing estimator or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and installation methods.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Esticom).
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
