Benefits Assistant

Today'sHR is one of the largest, independently owned, Human Resources Consulting, Outsourcing and PEO firms in California. For more than thirty years, we have assisted employers with the complex and high end functions relating to their Human Resources.
We are currently seeking a full time Benefits Assistant to provide daily benefits administration services to our clients and their employees.
Our Benefits Assistant must exhibit a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and flexibility/adaptability in a fast-paced, team environment. He/she will possess excellent customer service skills and be able to travel as needed, if required. Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred but not required.
What You'll Do:
- Assist Benefits department by following up on client inquiries and assisting in administrative processes.
- Process enrollment forms and changes. Provide clients additional benefits information as needed.
- Data entry into HRIS system and document processing ensuring accuracy and compliance of benefit-related laws and regulations.
- Creation of spreadsheets, presentations, forms, flyers, and other communication materials.
- Filing, scanning, copying and other clerical responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned by Directors or Executives.
What You'll Bring:
- 1 - 2 years of experience in Benefits Assistant or in a similar position required. Strong 401K and COBRA experience a plus.
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office software's and quick ability to learn new programs. Strong Excel skills required.
- Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks; meet deadlines; work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision; exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to solve problems logically and quickly, using good judgment or escalate issues when appropriate.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Additional HRIS Experience a plus.
