POSITION TITLE: Database Architect (Senior Product Analyst/Professional)

EMPLOYER: Enavate Inc.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, or foreign equivalent degree plus 2 years of experience in job offered.

ALTERNATIVE

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept 2 years of work experience in Computer Information Systems in lieu of a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems plus 2 years of experience in job offered.

Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: 1) Microsoft Certified Professional

2) Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate in SQL Server

3) Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in SQL Server 2008, Database Development

4) Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in SQL Server 2008, Implementation & Maintenance

TELECOMMUTER BENEFIT: Position permits remote/telework up to 100% of time

JOB DUTIES:

  1. Responsible for the architecture, deployment, maintenance, and performance turning of Microsoft SQL Server Database Platform.
  2. Develop and utilize deep technical skills in SQL Server in the deployment, administration, maintenance, and optimization of its data processing.
  3. Support Enavate Cloud hosted client database support needs. Work on planning and developing complex software scripts related to automating database administration, configuration, and optimization tasks.
  4. Provide technical expertise and assistance in implementing new and migrating existing databases, as well as troubleshooting performance, high availability, and resiliency type issues.
  5. Participate in team building and developing team and client relationships for software applications.
  6. Analyze hardware requirements for Microsoft SQL installations based upon expected performance of applications.
  7. Evaluate technical requirements, and install and manage development, test, and/or production environments. Write SQL code. Evaluate project budget requirements and scope of work.
  8. Design high-performance and highly available SQL Database environments leveraging Microsoft technologies to meet client and application requirements.
  9. Help to deliver system availability, manage changes and assure high-quality end-user experience.
  10. Attend technical meetings regarding the use of the availability features of Microsoft SQL Server. Provide technical leadership in the deployment of the availability features for new implementations.
  11. Provide technical instruction during transition of client environment to that supported by the Enavate Cloud team.
  12. Monitor and support any alerts raised by the Enavate Cloud monitoring software for the duration of the client support contract.
  13. Response under SLA to detected and raised issued. Resolve and close automatically or manually raised issues via the service now issue tracking software.

SALARY: $147,00.00/ year
