Hotel Front Desk Agent/ Saturday & Sunday AM/PM SHIFTS


Join our team of dedicated Hotel Front Desk professionals in Louisville, KY, US. We are in search of an individual to be the warm and welcoming presence at our hotel, ensuring our guests have a pleasant and comfortable stay. Your duties will involve confirming reservations, aiding with check-ins, assigning rooms, addressing special requests, processing payments, and maintaining clear communication with other hotel staff members.

Compensation:

$15 per hour

Responsibilities:
  • Greet and check in hotel guests upon arrival
  • Ensure that rooms are correctly booked and allocated to guests
  • Follow all credit, cash-handling, and check-cashing protocols
  • Keep up-to-date records of room availability, prices, and types
  • Present guests with hotel services and alternatives in order to increase sales
  • Be informed of the hotel's amenities, services, and activities
  • Communicate room status updates with housekeeping staff
  • Refresh meeting rooms as needed
  • Be informed of what businesses offer in the downtown area so you can assist guests in making their trip everything they imagine
  • Be able to work on your feet for a typical shift for 8 hours at a time in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Opera is a bonus
  • Excellent communication skills in English, the primary language used in the workplace
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time (8 hours per shift)
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Strong typing, grasping, writing, and listening skills
  • A positive attitude is essential
