Job Description:

The IT Associate is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users within the company. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring computer systems, and assisting with network administration tasks. The IT Associate will also provide training and support to users, ensure data security and backup, and maintain documentation of IT systems and procedures. They will work closely with the IT team and report to the IT Manager.

The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Requirements


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
1-2 years of experience in IT support or a related role
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks
Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Knowledge of network administration and security protocols
Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft Office Suite
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Basic understanding of ITIL processes and principles is a plus

Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to end-users, both in person and remotely
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
Install and configure computer systems and software
Assist with network administration tasks
Provide training and support to end-users
Ensure data security and backup
Maintain documentation of IT systems and procedures
Collaborate with IT team members to resolve complex issues
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Perform other related duties as assigned
