Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with the company's goals, focusing on cost optimization, risk management, and operational efficiency.

  • Risk Mitigation: Assess and mitigate supply chain risks, identifying and implementing appropriate contingency plans to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, fostering collaborative partnerships to improve supply chain performance.
  • Cost Management: Optimize supply chain costs through efficient procurement, inventory management, and logistics operations, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: Build, lead and develop a high-performing supply chain and logistics team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain and logistics management (Apparel industry preferred.)
  • Demonstrated expertise in supply chain strategy, procurement, inventory management, and logistics operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
  • Proven track record of driving process improvement and implementing best practices.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations and procedures.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Netsuite highly preferred.)
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement while coaching, teaching and mentoring your team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced knowledge of supply chain and logistics industry trends and best practices.
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute long-term supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of financial concepts related to supply chain management.
