Experience: Minimum of 14 years of business management experience, including 8 years of increasing responsibilities in assignment supervision and management. 10+ years of project and program management experience. At a minimum, the Program Director shall have experience within the last five (5) years working on projects of similar size and scale.
Specialized Experience: Experience in Financial Management, Cost Estimating, Procurement Strategic Planning and Execution, or Business Management. Must be capable of leading projects that involve the successful management of multi-functional teams. Specialized experience includes project development, expertise in management and control of funds and resources, demonstrated capability in managing multiple projects.
Duties: Performs day-to-day management of overall contract support operations, involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations. Organizes, directs and coordinates the planning and production of all contract support activities. Demonstrates written and oral communication skills. Demonstrates skills in the scope of work encompassed by the contract; provides technical guidance to the project team in performance of the work and reviews the quality of all work products. Has authority and responsibility to identify and commit resources required to support effort. Establishes and alters (as necessary) corporate management structure to direct effective contract support activities.
The Program Director responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain and manage the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization
- Organize, direct, and manage all contract operation support necessary to satisfactorily perform the work required by this PWS.
- Oversee the work of multiple project managers and analysts responsible for planning and executing all the requirements dictated within this PWS.
- Provide contract status reporting to the designated RMD personnel.
- Ensure full conformance with contract requirements, schedules, and costs.
