Job Summary:
We are searching for a Staff Accountant to provide vital support to our accounting team. The Staff Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, such as accounts receivable (billing and cash application), support month end close, prepare Journal Entries, assist in preparation of financial statements, maintaining financial records, processing invoices, and conducting account reconciliations. Proficiency in Excel is crucial for this role.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a related accounting position.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and the MS Office suite, with a specific focus on Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices, apply customer cash, investigate discrepancies, address customer questions.
  • Perform collections activities to ensure timely cash collections
  • Calculate and issue commission payment.
  • Collaborate with other cross functional team members on various accounting projects.
  • Provide assistance during audits as needed.
  • Prepare Journal Entries, assist in month end/Year end close and account reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
