Job Description

OVERVIEW 

The Orlando Economic Partnership (the Partnership) is a public/ private, not-for-profit economic and community development organization that supports the Orlando region. The Partnership works to strengthen the region's economy, amplify Orlando’s story, champion regional priorities, empower community leaders and build a brilliant region. By injecting new resources and fresh perspectives, the Partnership harnesses the strength of the region’s culture of collaboration and innovation to create a new future for a diverse and growing population with a goal of advancing broad-based prosperity for the Orlando region.

The Corporate Engagement team is responsible for revenue generation and engagement of all Partnership investors to advance key objectives of the Partnership.

GENERAL

This job description is intended primarily as an illustration of the type of work to be performed by the Senior Director. The Senior Director is a member of the Corporate Engagement team and reports to the C Suite Executive of Partnerships and Regional Investment.

Partnership employees are expected to provide their unique talents and abilities to solve specific problems or to address specific questions outside their job description related either to their team’s mission or in support of an organizational goal. They may be asked to participate in a variety of ad-hoc assignments and are expected to be flexible in their work practices and supportive of other team members. The Vice President is expected to be a critical thinker and contribute relevant input into team tactics, technical systems, and procedures and always conduct themselves in a professional manner. 

 

All employees of the Partnership are expected to familiarize themselves with the Partnership Personnel Manual and to conduct themselves in accordance with its policies and procedures. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Senior Director of Corporate Engagement Job Description

 

  • Oversee private revenue generation for the Orlando Economic Partnership.
  • Lead the Corporate Engagement staff responsible for implementing private revenue fundraising plan and securing annual $5.5 million investment.
    • Oversee $500k goal in annual sponsorship
  • Supervise new member revenue goal of $275k
  • Monitor and react to annual members attrition
  • Oversee billing of all investor accounts

  • Lead the Corporate Engagement staff in their efforts to achieve annual objectives.
    • Guide engagement opportunities of investors and key staff
    • Manage staff
  • Nurture relationships and partnerships with over four hundred Central Florida business executives.
  • Serve on the executive leadership team tasked with operational success and development of organizational vision.
  • Responsible for fostering relationships with executive leaders of top corporate partners including Advent Health, Lockheed Martin, Orlando Health, Orlando Magic, Tavistock, Truist, Universal Parks and Resorts, University of Central Florida, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, and others
  • Develop annual strategy for the organizational engagement with the Board of Directors and Executive Committee to advance economic well-being
    • Supervise the execution of executive committee meetings and board meetings
  • Lead six-member team tasked with relationship management across the Orlando region
  • Manage monthly revenue generation and coordinate efforts with accounting department
