We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Inventory Technician to join our team. The primary responsibilities include receiving medications using computer systems and accurately placing them on shelves. Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm(CST)
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming medications using computer systems.
- Accurately place medications on shelves according to established procedures.
- Verify the accuracy of shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Maintain organized and clean storage areas.
- Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues with inventory to the Director of Purchasing.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures for handling medications.
- Assist with other inventory-related tasks as needed.
- Assist with pharmacy technician duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed as a Texas pharmacy technician
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or inventory management history is a plus.
- Strong computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and carry medications and boxes up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or inventory management role is preferred but not required.
- This is a standing role with limited down time to sit.
