Your Day-to-Day
As a Preconstruction Manager, you will:
Understand and align with the project goals of owners and designers
Build and maintain relationships with design firms and specialty trade contractors
Leverage vendor relationships to apply value engineering for cost-effective solutions
Review project plans and specifications to determine accurate scopes of work
Perform quantity takeoffs to develop comprehensive labor and material cost estimates
Create detailed scope narratives that clearly reflect project cost estimates
Attend pre-bid meetings, prepare proposals, and present to stakeholders
Engage in market cost tracking and cost trend analysis to keep estimates competitive
What You Bring
Your experience and expertise are key to our success:
2+ years of experience in Estimating or Preconstruction Management with a commercial general contractor
Bachelor's Degree in a Construction-related field (Construction Management, Engineering, etc.)
Prior field experience (e.g., as a Superintendent) is a plus
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Bluebeam Revu
