The Opportunity
The Provider Educator is responsible for creating and delivering education and training programs for our provider team members across the organization. This role involves working closely with Practice Managers, Directors of Operations, and Medical Directors to provide clinical expertise and support.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the education and development of provider team members, ensuring high-quality care for our patients and fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment. Your Impact
- Education and Training: Conduct workshops, orientations, and role-specific trainings for providers, including Docutap, workers' compensation, occupational health, and splinting.
- Support and Consultation: Serve as a resource and consultant for provider education and development needs. Offer guidance to Practice Managers and Medical Directors.
- Auditing and Remediation: Perform new provider chart audits, bi-annual preceptor audits, and provide remediation plans as needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on best practices and develop training materials. Support new initiatives and policy changes affecting provider team members.
- Communication: Regularly communicate progress and training needs with relevant stakeholders. Report on completion of required education programs.
- Clinical Shifts: Fulfill 8 Lead Provider clinic shifts per month.
- Other Duties: As assigned.
Who You Are
- Licensed medical provider (MD/DO/NP/PA).
- At least 1 year of Urgent Care experience.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerBI, Microsoft Office Suite, Docutap, and When to Work.
- Experience in training or precepting providers.
- Knowledgeable in Occupational Health Standards.
- Strong alignment with ConvenientMD’s mission and values.
- Effective at training providers with diverse learning styles.
- Skilled in medical documentation and evidence-based practices.
