Position Overview

ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled and passionate Sign Language Facilitator to join our dedicated team. This role is essential in providing support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, ensuring they have equal access to educational opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with elementary or middle school students in a one-on-one setting.
  • Provide interpretation services during classroom activities and events.
  • Collaborate with educators to facilitate effective communication.
  • Maintain a professional and supportive environment for students.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess an active Virginia Sign Language Interpreter License.
  • Required credentials include either a valid VQAS Level III or a passing score on the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) Written Test with a minimum score of 3.5.
