TrueNorth is looking for multiple Sales Interns to join us this summer. Sales Interns will grow in their understanding of the insurance sales process, gain professional development experience, conduct market research, get real client experience, and even have the opportunity to get licensed

Our internship program is a 10-week paid program, running May – August 2025.

As a Sales Intern, You Will:

  • Develop a basic understanding of products, services, and coverages to assist in managing client risk.
  • Research and profile new leads for designated producers; ensure profiles and data are completed for prospect visits.
  • Accompany and support teams on sales calls and new business meetings.
  • Participate in campaign sprints to engage prospects and drive lead generation.
  • Leverage technology and systems like EPIC and Salesforce to engage clients and prospects, while tracking activity and handling tasks such as loss run summaries and market research.
  • Engage with customers directly and assist in developing effective sales strategies to support the sales team in achieving targets.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and job shadow producers to gain a strong understanding of the insurance sales process.

Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Must be of Junior or Senior status, currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management or related field 
  • Proficient in N/A
  • Prior internship or job experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • The ability to work successfully in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment 
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Ideal candidates will have a genuine interest in the insurance industry
