Production Responsibilities:

  • Be the primary contact for their assigned maintenance customers with the ability to make decisions and execute landscape maintenance contracts.
  • Manage crew productivity for each assigned job, ensuring that tasks are completed on or before the total estimated hours.
  • Oversee timely dispatch, scheduling, and equipment management for their portfolio.
  • Responsible for the daily operation and management of trucks, fuel card, vehicle inspections, safety checks, maintenance, and storage.
  • Attend landscape job walks with customers, as necessary, and walk each job in their assigned portfolio a minimum of once per month.
  • Attend customer board meetings as needed outside of normal business hours.

Employee and Safety Management:

  • Organize people and processes including staff hiring, training, staff management, and monitoring the safety and quality of work on-site.
  • Continually evaluate individual team members and identify training needs and potential employees for career advancement.

Administrative and Financial:

  • Effectively manage budgets for each assigned customer while striving to meet branch financial goals and maintaining a high level of service.
  • Manage workforce scheduling for each maintenance account in their portfolio.
  • Review all labor hours are accounted for and coded correctly daily in Aspire.
  • Review all maintenance contract financials weekly and attend P&L meetings monthly.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Proficient with computer software programs including but not limited to Aspire, Word, Excel, and Gmail.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in english - spanish preferred also.
  • Supervision and management skill set, with the ability to deliver clear and concise direction to team members.
  • Proficient in all horticulture and landscape maintenance practices.
