What You'll Do:

  • Actively seek out and engage with potential customers, providing tailored solutions to drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and profitability.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients and prospects, collaborating with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Estimating, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless workflow and customer satisfaction.
  • Work as a back-up for the Office Manager, supporting various administrative tasks as needed.
  • Travel as necessary to meet customer needs and build strong relationships within the Northwest territory, covering California north of San Jose, Northern Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and Utah.

  • Proven sales and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal abilities with a positive, patient, and proactive approach to customer service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A professional, results-driven demeanor.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Quick problem-solving abilities and a knack for meeting deadlines.
  • Solid business math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and ERP systems.
  • A valid Driver's License is required.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years in customer service or sales support, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, expanding product line penetration with existing customers.
  • Align with company growth strategies and stay ahead of market trends.
  • Network, cold call, and negotiate to secure new clients and orders.
  • Provide expert knowledge of our products and match them to client needs.
  • Represent the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring their needs are met and resolving post-sales issues promptly.
  • Achieve annual sales and market share growth targets.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and ERP systems, and support the Office Manager as needed.
  • Uphold the CFS Quality Policy and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Continuously develop your skills and knowledge through participation in meetings, conferences, and team projects.
