About the Role:

As a Technical Project Manager at DesignShop, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Your role is vital in driving innovation, maintaining high-quality standards, and ultimately delivering exceptional value to our internal clients.

What you'll do:

Project Planning and Strategy:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
    Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
    Align project strategies with the company's overall business goals.

Project Execution and Management:

  • Lead cross-functional project teams, including developers, designers, and other technical experts.
    Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and proactively address issues to ensure projects stay on track.
    Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Act as a primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and risks.
    Foster clear and open communication channels within the project team and with external stakeholders.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and align with the company's commitment to excellence.
    Implement best practices and quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential disruptions.
    Implement risk management plans to address unforeseen challenges effectively.

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Conduct daily stand-up meetings with project teams to track progress and address issues.
  • Review project documentation, such as requirements, specifications, and design documents.
  • Prepare and deliver project status reports and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, ensuring that action items are documented and followed up on.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
