Job Description:

Moody's is a global leader in integrated risk assessment, empowering organizations to make informed decisions. We're seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to oversee technology infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project planning, implementation, and execution, from initiation to closure.
  • Partner with the Finance function to enhance PMO financial controls, implementing robust financial management processes and systems.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress against established milestones and deliverables.
  • Coordinate resources, including internal team members, external vendors, and contractors, to ensure timely project completion.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively addressing challenges that may arise during project execution.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders, including senior management, project team members, and other relevant parties.
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices, processes, and methodologies, continuously improving project management processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, engineering, and security, to ensure seamless integration of technology infrastructure projects with existing systems and processes.
  • Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and providing regular financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of project delivery and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management, with a focus on technology infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure concepts, including networking, servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Trello.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional project teams.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working in an agile environment and familiarity with agile project management methodologies a plus.
