Job Title: Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team at Leidos. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex technical projects from initiation to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure seamless project execution
  • Work closely with technical leads to understand and manage complex technical solutions
  • Develop and manage project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Requirements:
  • Experience in delivering software projects, specifically
  • Strong project management skills, including SAFe Agile and Waterfall models
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to engage and work within a multi-functional program team
  • Sound understanding of business, finance, and personnel management techniques
  • Ability to communicate, negotiate, and influence effectively
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with good verbal communication
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Technical background in software development/test activities
