SUMMARY

We seek a versatile and intellectually curious Project Engineer who is passionate about learning and leveraging modern technology deployments. Under the Professional Services team, you will be an integral part of successfully executing a broad range of technical projects for a variety of our client’s business needs.  If you are focused on the art of possibility and are not afraid of growth, you'll want to be at Valeo Networks. In this position, you will play a critical role in deploying our clients’ cloud and on-prem technology infrastructure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Successfully execute mid to large-scale technical project tasks as assigned.
  • Leverage existing automation wherever possible, keeping a keen eye open for new opportunities.
  • Create and maintain high-quality documentation before, during, and after project completion as applicable.
  • Provide pre-escalation assistance to the Managed Services team members as needed.
  • Prioritize project requests and support tickets to meet required SLAs.
  • Escalate unresolved technical issues to senior resources.
  • Ensure effective and proactive communication to all project team members and external facing stakeholders.
  • Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by senior resources or direct supervisors.  


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • (Required) Attitude: Very resourceful self-starter able to exercise independent judgment and act upon it appropriately.
  • Education: A+, MCP, and MCSE certifications are preferred but not mandatory. A strong candidate would demonstrate the following skills and be able to troubleshoot with a high degree of success.
  • (Required) Experience: Minimum One (5) Year IT Specific Work History
  • (Preferred) Education: Related degree or Certifications Such as Network+, Server+, Security+, MD-101, AZ-900
  • (Preferred) Experience: Minimum One (2) Year of MSP Experience (Managed Service Provider)
  • (Preferred) Attitude: Self-motivated learner who enjoys testing & configuring home lab environments.


SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, such as active listening and customer care.
  • Confidence in implementing and supporting M365 administration, networking protocols, server administration, and modern desktop deployment tactics.
  • Strong soft skills due to the dynamic nature of collaborations with other engineering teams, customers, and vendors.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Taking ownership of all projects and tasks assigned.
  • Understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
