Planning Coordinator II

The production planner will be responsible for scheduling production based off sales forecast, entry of production data and coordination between all teams to ensure production can be met. The production planner will also be tasked with record keeping of production output and time studies to be shared cross functionally to assist with staffing and process improvement.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.
- Identify and address production bottlenecks and inefficiencies to improve manufacturing productivity and streamline production.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on production status, inventory levels, and any issues impacting production schedules.
- Entry of daily production output data and generation of production metrics.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate/Technical Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 0-2+ years’ experience in project planning
PREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Effective communication (oral, written, presentation) skills.
- Exposure to construction regulations and rules.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suites and Data Analytics.
- Adaptive, problem-solving orientation.
- Experience developing work plans and project schedules.
- Maintains confidentiality on sensitive topics.
