About the Role

Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian II to join our team at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, Louisiana. As a key member of our nutrition services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nutrition care to patients on inpatient med/surg units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nutrition care to patients, including assessing nutritional needs, developing personalized meal plans, and monitoring patient progress.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest nutrition research and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nutrition or related field, with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) credentials, with eligibility to become registered within 120 days of hire.
  • 3+ years of experience as a registered dietitian, with a strong background in clinical nutrition and patient care.
