Master Automotive Technician

Job Overview:

We are continuing to grow and are looking to add to our team a qualified Master Technician who is energetic, upbeat, and has a positive attitude. This individual seeks out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our customers. They compliment the skills and capabilities of our existing team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Use their knowledge & skill to diagnose and fix vehicles for our customers. 
  • Work closely with the Service Advisors to provide effective recommendations that address each guest concern.
  • Perform full, accurate, and honest courtesy digital vehicle inspections.
  • Continuously build automotive expertise across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
  • Work together with other Technicians to solve problems, to meet deadlines, and to deliver distinguished results.
  • Follow and promote our high standards of excellence in safety and cleanliness.
  • Treat our guests and other team members with respect and integrity.
Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • Positive attitude and a desire to serve customers
  • 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
  • 3+ ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
  • Diesel and Euro experience preferred but not required
  • Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
  • Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
  • Professional appearance and strong communication
  • A desire for long-term career development

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
  • Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
  • Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
  • Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
  • Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
  • Drive manual transmission vehicles
  • Efficiently navigate a computer and/or a tablet
