Job Description

Join our team as Marketing Coordinator and become one of the authors of our story.  The Marketing Coordinator plays a critical role in stewarding Primland’s brand and elevating our storytelling. This role requires a foundational understanding of social media, strong writing skills and an understanding of a luxury aesthetic. This role will maintain an entrepreneurial spirit, and is a self-starting team player that’s creative, innovative, and is willing to roll up their sleeves to implement the latest thinking in marketing, social media, and partnerships. This role reports to the Area Director of Marketing. This role is a remote role but the ideal candidate is based in the Southeast region within driving distance of the property and is able to support events and marketing initiatives as needed at the property. 

Qualifications

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their team-mates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

 

Social Media & PR

  • Works closely with the Area Director of Marketing to execute a social media strategy for Primland 

  • Responsible for the day-to-day social media management for Primland

  • Continual posting on social media channels, works with regional director to review plans/copy/imagery    

  • Works alongside other key roles within the organization and guides on-site property managers to generate content that aligns with the brand’s social media strategy, and speaks to a luxury consumer 

  • Support the PR agency with reservations + itineraries for influencers and press visits 

Marketing Partnerships 

  • Support Director of Marketing with the strategic implementation of creative and on-brand partnerships designed to elevate properties

  • Coordinate partner deliverables, on-site events and activations at Primland 

Asset Management 

  • Keep all marketing collateral and calendars up to date: Fact sheet, Property Guide, Promotional Calendar, Key Messaging, Experience Guides, Key Contacts etc.

  • Digital Asset Management: Maintain and update photo and video library in accordance with our central process for the hotel. Ensure assets are all labeled in a meaningful, findable manner    

Website 

  • Responsible for the maintenance of website marketing materials, and other property updates 

  • Update new experiences and blog posts to the website; Maintain calendars, activities, experiences, dining menus, and other events; Review for accuracy on a consistent basis; Promote key offers/events; Seasonal content/imagery updates

Marketing 

  • Support digital marketing activation with the following functions: 

    • Maintain email marketing calendar for Primland and Primland Sporting Club 

    • Manage the print marketing material needs for the property, including food & beverage collateral, sporting club collateral, Spa collateral, property collateral, and promotional materials

    • Manage the production of digital marketing creative asset development  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2+ years of experience in luxury or hotel space with experience in or an interest in social media management and marketing 

  • Strong understanding of a luxury brand and aesthetic 

  • Knowledge of the Blue Ridge region and key Southeast feeder markets

  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communications skills

  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently  

  • Demonstrated ability to work with and support cross-functional project teams

  • Mobile and social media experience an asset
