New Brunswick Counseling center is looking for the part-time Administrative Behavioral Health Program Supervisor.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Member of the Management Team.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversees the Accounting Billing department, assists with budget preparation, and audit functions. Works with the medical and clinical department heads to monitor each department and make recommendations.
Essential Duties:
- Directs the preparation of shareholder reports and governmental agency reports.
- Compares services provided and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; makes or oversees any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.
- Reviews the planning process and suggests improvements to current methods.
- Analyzes operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination.
- Works with the Executive Director to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the Strategic Planning Process.
- Oversees the County, FFS State, DCF, Ryan White, and Women Set Aside contracts for the Agency.
- Grant Management: Completes grant applications, composes monthly and quarterly expenditure reports. Assists in the development of allocation plans, budgets, works in conjunction with a Certified Public Accountant to develop budget categories and account registers.
- Liaison: Acts as a liaison between funding sources (Division of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services and Middlesex County Department of Human Resources).
- Supervises Administrative Staff.
- Track all inspections needed for the buildings, cars, and grounds of both facilities and schedule inspections in compliance with state regulations and safety measures.
Participate in safety meetings.
Requirements:
- Education: A Master’s Degree in social work, business management, or non-profit management is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressive post-graduate experience, including 2 years in consultation and administration, is required. Practical experience in behavioral health services or a clinical setting is preferred.
- Certifications: Certifications in non-profit and management are beneficial.
- Skills: The ability to cooperate with people from all walks of life is important. The Program Manager will provide administrative/clinical supervision to the program staff to ensure all services are delivered according to local, state, and federal law and in compliance with contractual requirements.
