About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medication Transporter to join our team at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. As a Medication Transporter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and accurate administration of medications to individuals with intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and dual diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement residential programs as developed, including medical transport and scheduling
  • Comply with regulatory and facility policies on medication consents
  • Teach individuals about medications and medication management
  • Accurately monitor and document medication administration
  • Monitor medication effects and adverse reactions according to facility protocol
  • Report concerns to the RN on duty and actual/potential medication errors per facility procedure
Requirements
  • Medication administration certification
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekend hours
  • Minimum of two years of college in a degree-seeking program, preferably in a human services field
  • Prefer BA degree in a human services field
  • Can substitute one year of related experience for the education requirement
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
