Primary Duties and Responsibilities as Crisis Case Manager:

  • Ensure service provision within DBHDS, DMAS, MCO, and EHP regulations/requirements
  • Complete QMHP duties, including attending Supervision
  • Log into Behavioral Health Portal during normal business hours
  • Primarily provide support to individuals in Mobile Crisis services
  • Maintain a minimum of 25 billable hours weekly in Mental Health Skill Building
  • Assist individuals with de-escalation techniques and mental health education
  • Fulfill care coordination functions and provide linkage to resources
  • Ensure that progress notes and accompanying documentation are submitted within required timeframes
  • Conduct case management and assist with ensuring high quality services are provided
  • Participate in discharge sessions
  • Complete additional administrative functions as requested
  • Serve as a mentor to staff and provide training as needed
  • Attend meetings as required
  • Complete other duties as assigned
