As a moving logistics team member for Attractive Interiors, you will be a part of the magic assisting in the design of each stage from loading and unloading a 26ft box truck, hanging art, and assembling our furniture. This job is not like a standard moving company, our moving/logistics team member assists our staging team in setting up each beautiful home.

Compensation:

$22 - $26 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Loading and Unloading: Expertise in safely loading and unloading box trucks, ensuring secure transportation of staging furniture, art, décor and other staging items to different properties. Ensure the delivery and arrangement with the utmost care in a timely/professional manner. As we are in Phoenix, AZ you must be able to work in a warehouse environment, withstanding climate changes. 
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift up or slightly over 100 lbs (Team Lift) while handling inventory with care to prevent damage.
  • Furniture Assembly and Artwork: Proficiency in assembling and wrapping furniture and hanging artwork. Precision and care to meet staging requirements and protect furniture and art.
  • Bedding Preparation: Skill in steaming bedding to ensure a polished and professional presentation of staged homes.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Assist in maintaining an organized and clean warehouse to suit inventory requirements. Moving staging inventory safely throughout warehouse with utmost care. Maintain inventory control system (Stageforce) as well as a clean and well-organized work area.
  • Truck Management: Keep company trucks clean, organized, and properly maintained for efficient use during staging installations and pickups.
  • Property Care: Ensure that homeowners' and our property is respected, safeguarded against damage, left clean pre and post-installation.
  • Driving Responsibilities: Drive 26ft company truck as requested, adhering to safety guidelines and traffic regulations. Medical test required.
  • Assist Logistics Team and Stagers: Collaborate with the logistics and staging team in the warehouse, home staging installations, and de-stages to ensure efficient operations. This includes wrapping and moving furniture, vacuuming, cleaning inventory once it's staged, breaking down boxes, etc. As well as packing and removal of furniture with care and efficiency.
  • Detail Oriented: Attention to detail and ability to work effectively with the staging team will play a vital role in our company.
Qualifications:

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelors preferred.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in driving and loading a 26ft box truck, home staging mover, construction, retail/warehouse management, or related fields preferred.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects (up to 100 lbs) with a team. Proper lifting techniques, lift, push, stooping, twisting and bending.
  • Proficiency in furniture assembly, handling artwork and bedding preparation.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Efficient time management skills on stage installs and de-stages.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing job requirements and schedules.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  • Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills but can also work independently.
  • Ensure that all daily schedules and work assignments are properly completed.
  • Be polite and courteous to customers on the phone and in their homes.
  • Must be on-time, reliable and have reliable transportation.
