The role of the Financial Analyst will support our growth by providing timely and accurate reporting for our operating entities. This role works very closely with our corporate FP&A leadership to identify trends and metrics that will allow for strategic decision making that will contribute to our long-term financial goals.


Finance role responsibility:

· Own and support Roers General Contracting and Roers Residential by completing and reviewing monthly packages and executive reporting

· Build out regional reporting structure to help better support our operating entities

· Work with senior leaders to budget and forecast entity performance with an emphasis on risk and profitability

· Assist in the long-range planning process

· Identify key performance metrics for the business

· Leverage Power BI and other data visualization tools

· Support additional business analysis as needed

· Support the SVP of Finance with strategic ad hoc requests

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field

· Two to five years of experience in a financial analyst or similar role

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

· Experience in multifamily housing preferred but not required

· Candidate must be a strong collaborator and a self-starter

· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills necessary. Must have the ability to interact with wide range of people, both inside and outside the organization

· Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

· Able to undertake multiple projects, manage shifting priorities, and handle a strong workload

· Has an entrepreneurial and ownership mindset – loves to be challenged, determined to win, puts clients and teammates first, collaborative, inquisitive, self-motivated, and operates on trust

· Has a high level of integrity – trusted, direct, truthful
