Lubrication Specialties, Inc. (LSI) is a rapidly growing Oil and Additive company dedicated to its family-oriented, small-town roots. We pride ourselves on being innovative, agile, and fast-paced. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to develop long-term customer relationships and oversee sales initiatives for our LSI Chemical division.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks.
- Support a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success.
- Develop positive relationships with clients.
- Act as the point of contact and handle customers individual needs.
- Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers promptly.
- Report on the status of accounts and transactions.
- Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives.
- Monitor sales metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
- Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare appropriate marketing material and presentations.
- Support trade shows and conference events.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to effectively present information.
- Ability to respond to inquiries from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public in a timely manner.
- Impeccable communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Advanced level of knowledge with Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel, email, CRM software, familiarity with social media platforms, with an emphasis on LinkedIn.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability in business-to-business (B2B) sales.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload.
- Strong networking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, communication, or related field is required.
- 2-4 years of professional experience.
- Proven experience as an Inside Sales Account Manager or Sales Account Executive preferred.
- Must possess a valid drivers license.
- No certifications or licenses are required.
