Lubrication Specialties, Inc. (LSI) is a rapidly growing Oil and Additive company dedicated to its family-oriented, small-town roots. We pride ourselves on being innovative, agile, and fast-paced. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to develop long-term customer relationships and oversee sales initiatives for our LSI Chemical division.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks.
  • Support a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success.
  • Develop positive relationships with clients.
  • Act as the point of contact and handle customers individual needs.
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers promptly.
  • Report on the status of accounts and transactions.
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives.
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare appropriate marketing material and presentations.
  • Support trade shows and conference events.
  • Other duties as assigned.
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Ability to effectively present information.
  • Ability to respond to inquiries from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public in a timely manner.
  • Impeccable communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced level of knowledge with Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel, email, CRM software, familiarity with social media platforms, with an emphasis on LinkedIn.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability in business-to-business (B2B) sales.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload.
  • Strong networking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, communication, or related field is required.
  • 2-4 years of professional experience.
  • Proven experience as an Inside Sales Account Manager or Sales Account Executive preferred.
OTHER INFORMATION
  • Must possess a valid drivers license.
  • No certifications or licenses are required.
