Job Description

Summary/objective

Communicates with current and former CMP/SaaS customers to ensure the highest possible service renewal rates.

Essential Functions

  • Proactively encourage first-time renewals of all SaaS products.
  • Address and overcome customer concerns prior to service cancellation.
  • Attempt to resign former customers.
  • Maintain the SaaS operational database.
  • Generate and process manual orders.
  • Assist customers, as needed, in the auto-renewal process.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The position will not have direct reports.

Competencies/Qualifications

  • Strong inside sales skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of general sales principles.
  • Ability to remotely translate technical knowledge into plain, easy-to-understand language.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office products.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft CRM.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and listen. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will initially work in the Richmond office.

Required education and experience

  • A High School diploma is required. AS Degree in a technology-related field is a plus.
  • Basic electrical knowledge using multimeters and troubleshooting AC motors, switches, and low voltage sensors and devices is a plus.
