Road Machinery & Supplies Co. (RMS) is accepting resumes and applications for an Aggregate Division Manager. RMS is the exclusive dealer for the Astec companies, Kolberg Pioneer Inc. (KPI), Johnson Crushing International (JCI), Astec Mobile Screens, (AMS), Sandvik, along with other aggregate related lines of equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual strategic plans to grow RMS’ aggregate business, including our Pit & Quarry consumables division
  • Manage the sales activities of the Aggregate Sales and Support Specialists, while continuing to improve & refine their capability and effectiveness
  • Supervise Pit & Quarry personnel and work with PSSR leadership to continuously seek opportunities to expand our product portfolio
  • Collaborate with service and rental personnel to improve rental fleet readiness and damage recovery
  • Drive improvement of key sales related metrics:
    1. Market Share
    2. Rolling 12 / Call Frequency
    3. On-Deal percentage
    4. Achieve growth & profitability targets
  • Establish and maintain relationships with major aggregate producers
  • Create action plans for (any) accounts not meeting plan; track & report progress
  • Collaborate with the aftermarket group (PSSRs) to drive incremental sales, including new product lines and territory coverage
  • Collaborate with product support and rental departments to constantly improve efficiency, cost recovery, turnaround time, and profitability of products in the aggregate division
  • Become actively involved in industry associations
  • Create a safe working environment for employees; foster safety improvements and employee involvement
  • Establish and maintain relationships with RMS’ vendor partners
  • Travel as required throughout RMS geography and to industry and vendor events
  • Other duties as necessary to operate and grow the business of RMS
