- Observe all expectations for quality, and safety
- Meet or exceed company expectations for production performance to maximize sales
- Examine product for defects and disposition accordingly
- Knowledge of SQF, GMP's, SOP's, and HACCP, and other food process sanitation requirements.
- Report any/all food safety or food quality issues immediately to supervision or QA.
- Perform related duties as assigned by production lead or other leadership
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Assist production lead with changeovers as required (including moving materials, equipment, etc).
- Stage pre-scale area with all required ingredient bins in the proper order
- Verify with mixer that correct ingredients are being used
- Accurately mix ingredients based on pre-scale weigh sheet for each batch
- Ensure all ingredient bins all full at start and end of shift
- Use pallet jack to move ingredient pallets to pre-scale area
- Ensure pre-scale totes are ready prior to mixer needing them
- Maintain a clean work environment including pre-scale area to freezer entrance
- Place empty ingredient bags in cardboard baler
- Perform related duties as assigned by Lead Mixer or other leadership
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Properly utilize labor resources to improve efficiency, minimize labor expense and reduce waste
- Rework all product as needed, do not waste product
- Notify production lead of any waste issues and/or machine malfunctions
- Clean up line continuously throughout shift
- Able to work extended hours, available for overtime and weekend work as required.
- Provide outstanding customer service to our partners
- Implement actions as needed to prevent food safety and food quality issues
- Coordinate with QA to ensure excellent quality is being produced
- Ensure customer specifications are being met through evaluation and immediate reaction
- Monitor and ensure that all GMP's, SOP's, and HACCP are met at all times
- Ensure Production Floor is SQF ready EVERYDAY
- Properly utilize labor resources to improve efficiency, minimize labor expense and reduce waste
Other Responsibilities and Skills Needed:

- Utilize Plex to find any materials needs located outside of the pre-scale area
- Place empty ingredient bags in cardboard baler
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Ability to read, write, and basic mathematical skills are required
- Must be willing to work weekends and overtime when needed
Physical and Safety Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
- Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and all other food safety requirements
- Complies with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE's) requirements
- Reports any food safety problems or potentially unsafe practices/conditions to lead or supervisor
- Constant walking and standing on hard concrete service
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, lifting and climbing
- Position will require working in very hot conditions
- Other conditions include flour dust, wet floors, occasional smoke and fumes if product burns
