Job Summary:As a Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our manufacturing operations. You'll be responsible for overseeing tooling management, implementing process improvements, and ensuring efficient production.
Job Duties:
  • Lead a team of Mold Maintenance Techs, monitoring their performance and identifying training needs.
  • Collaborate with various departments to extend the lifespan of mold components and manage the mold repair program.
  • Oversee injection mold tooling projects, from design to fabrication and implementation.
  • Work in cross-functional teams to address product quality and production issues related to mold and assembly processes.
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of CAD and PowerPoint for communication with external mold vendors.
  • Assist in new equipment and tooling validation, write and execute validation documents, and update current mold work instructions.
  • Track tooling from removal to installation, assist in removal, setup, and repair as needed.
  • Contribute to the management of the preventative maintenance program, supervising execution and reporting.
  • Provide technical expertise to Maintenance, Engineering, and Production departments.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with OSHA safety standards.
  • Support the installation of new products, tooling, and processes; investigate tooling and process problems; and make recommendations as necessary.
  • Follow company policies, training procedures, and good housekeeping practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university preferred, or six to eight years of relevant managerial experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must come from injection molding background
