Front Desk/Customer Service Representative

Pay range: $21.00-$23.00 based on experience.
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Front Desk Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for the company, responsible for greeting clients, answering calls, and performing a variety of administrative tasks. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential, as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Open and close the office during normal business hours
- Answer and transfer calls through a multi-line phone system in a polite and friendly manner
- Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner, and answer any questions visitors have
- Maintain reception area and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner at all times
- Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a fax machine, a copy machine, and a computer
- Scan, sort and file documents
- Keep detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and of calls received
- Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail
- Take inventory of supplies, order common items and restock as needed
- Maintain the general office filing system
- Occasionally will need to pull order from warehouse
- Other duties as assigned
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Proven experience as front desk representative, agent or relevant position
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service oriented
- Knowledge of office management
- Proficient in English (oral and written)
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Team, Word, Excel)
- Ability to multi-task, take initiative and anticipate needs of others
- Good organizational skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer etc.)
- High School diploma; additional qualifications will be a plus
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
While performing duties, must be able to sit, stand, talk, hear, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must frequently lift and or move up to ten pounds.
