The Archdiocese of Philadelphia, Office of Catholic Education, seeks a dynamic, innovative, results-driven leader for the Assistant to the President position at Cardinal O’Hara High School. Responsibilities

  • Executive Support: Coordinate day-to-day operations for the President, including scheduling meetings, creating Zooms, developing agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring timely responses to inquiries and requests. Manage the President’s calendar and appointments to include reviewing and assessing the urgency/priority of all requests for appointments, meetings, and/or special invitations to attend various activities or events. Work closely with other offices, faculty, and staff to ensure the President receives in a timely manner all required information and background materials for meetings and appointments.
  • Event Support and Coordination: Assist in the planning, coordination and execution of Development, Admissions, Alumni, and other school events, including but not limited to logistics, vendor relations, promotion, and sponsorship. These events include the Hall of Fame, the Thanksgiving Mass and Welcome Back for Young Alumni, the O’Hara Family Christmas, Catholic Schools Week community and alumni programs, and the Mane Event. Also, work as the point person for facility rental requests and coordination.
  • General Assistance: Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the President.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Advanced skills with the Google Workspace, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Superior organizational skills, work efficiently, juggle tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and achieve goals.
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service focus, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

This is a full-time, 12-month position.
